Enroll in AWS Educate as a Student

Students can apply to join AWS Educate in just a few steps:

  • Step A: Access the AWS Educate website here and click the Join AWS Educate Today button.
  • Step B: Click to Apply for AWS Educate for Students.
  • Step C: Enter the information requested on the AWS Educate Student Application form.
  • Step D: Verify your email address and complete a captcha to verify that you are not a robot.
  • Step E: Click-through to accept AWS Educate Terms and Conditions.

Note: This process may change or the web pages may be updated from time-to-time.

Step A: Access the AWS Educate web page here and then click the Join AWS Educate Today button

 

Step B: Click Apply for AWS Educate for Students and Click Next to apply as a Student.

 

 

Step C: Fill out the application form.

  1. Enter “Northwestern University” in the Institution Name field
  2. Enter your Northwestern student email address in the Email field.
  3. Enter your AWS Account ID in the AWS Account ID field. If you do not have an ID, create a free account by navigating to https://aws.amazon.com/ and clicking on “Create a Free Account”. Once your account has been created, login to http://aws.amazon.com/ and navigate to “Account Settings” form the “My Account‘ dropdown list.

 

Step D: An email with a verification code will be sent to the email address the Student listed. The student will need to enter the verification code on this page, click the box to the left of ‘I’m not a robot’ and follow any additional instructions.

 

Step E. Click-through to accept AWS Educate Terms and Conditions and then click Submit.

You will receive a welcome email from AWS Educate once your account is ready to use.

Educators can apply to join AWS Educate in just a few steps:

  • Step A: Access the AWS Educate website here and click the Join AWS Educate Today button.
  • Step B: Click to Apply for AWS Educate forEducators.
  • Step C: Enter the information requested on the AWS Educate Educators Application form.
  • Step D: Verify your email address and complete a captcha to verify that you are not a robot.
  • Step E: Click-through to accept AWS Educate Terms and Conditions.

Step B: Click Apply for AWS Educate for Educators and Click Next to apply as an Educator.

 

Step C: Fill out the application form.

  1. Enter “Northwestern University” in the Institution Name field
  2. Enter your Northwestern educator email address in the Email field.
  3. Enter your AWS Account ID in the AWS Account ID field. If you do not have an ID, create a free account by navigating to https://aws.amazon.com/ and clicking on “Create a Free Account”. Once your account has been created, login to http://aws.amazon.com/ and navigate to “Account Settings” form the “My Account‘ dropdown list.
